Dr. Gadiel R. Alvarado is a seasoned infectious disease physician with over 12 years of clinical experience who is known for his kindness and empathy with patients. Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Alvarado obtained his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology at UCF, followed by his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as an active-duty US Army officer until 2022. He then started providing telemedicine services for remote hospital institutions throughout the United States and has now completed over 3000 patient encounters using telehealth platforms. Dr. Alvarado believes that timely guidance by an infectious disease expert in the outpatient setting can help prevent complications, hospital admissions and improve overall health.
